Экстракция: Эфирное масло – получают из листьев паровой дистилляцией с выходом 0.1-1%, а так же из цветов табака.
Характеристика: Эфирное масло имеет характерный запах табака.
Химические компоненты: ЭМ из листьев – терпены 30%, фурфурол, муравьиная кислота, изовалериановая кислота, оксимиристиновая кислота, сложные эфиры.
Наряду с привычными для эфирных масел ароматическими и терпеноидными соединениями в масле были обнаружены небольшие количества новых веществ, оказывающих заметное влияние на запах всей смеси, в частности:
1) бета-дамасценон и ряд близких по строению соединений (I- III),
2) производные склареола (IV-VI),
3) 15-пентадеканолид и 18-октадец-9-енолид (VII).
Кроме того, в масле присутствуют микроколичества пиразинов и производных хинолина, которые также вносят свою лепту в букет запаха.
